ASHE COUNTY - The National Weather Service out of Blacksburg, Virginia has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Ashe, Alleghany and Watauga counties in North Carolina and Grayson County in Virginia. The "State of Franklin" marked the beginnings of the State of Tennessee.
